08 Nov James Poindexter Named a “Top 10 Under 40 in the First Coast Legal Community”

James C. Poindexter, labor and employment attorney at Delegal & Poindexter, P.A., has been selected as a “Top 10 Under 40 in the First Coast legal community” for 2019 by Attorney at Law Magazine.

Nominated by his peers, Poindexter received the honor alongside nine other local attorneys for each having “already differentiated themselves as attorneys to watch in the Jacksonville area.”

“It is truly an honor to have been nominated by my peers to receive this designation,” Poindexter said, “I look forward to growing our labor and employment law practice here in my hometown of Jacksonville and continuing to work with the extraordinary members of our city’s bar.”

Practicing labor and employment law, Poindexter began his legal career as an Associate at Delegal Law Offices, P.A. in 2015. In June 2019, Poindexter was made a Shareholder of the firm, which was renamed Delegal & Poindexter, P.A.

Poindexter serves as Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Section and Chair of the Governmental Relations Committee for the Jacksonville Bar Association, and also serves as Treasurer/Secretary of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
